Founder Bio

Richard Schibell founded Schibell Warehouse Group with the goal of providing full service third party warehouse and logistic service for all types of businesses. His many years of business experience allowed him to create many business relationships that have helped grow SWG to the business that it is today. Richard Schibell also boasts a very long and successful career practicing law.

Richard D. Schibell, Esq. has been calling Schibell & Mennie, LLC. his home since 1997, and he has been a successful lawyer for more than three decades. He is well educated and has had several bar admissions throughout his career. Graduating from Seton Hall University in 1970 with honors, Richard went on to pursue his law degree at Seton Hall University, School of Law, where he graduated cum laude in 1973, as the highest ranking graduate in his class.

With a legal career spanning almost 30 years, he started in law as a law secretary to the Honorable Lawrence A. Carton, P.J.A.D. in 1973, and moved to practicing as a lawyer in 1991 with the Borough Deal Board of Education. He has worked in numerous other law firms and has been a partner in two law firms, including his current partnership, Schibell & Mennie, LLC. Richard has made a name for himself as a well-regarded and respected lawyer in New Jersey.

His bar admissions include the State of New Jersey, the United States Tax Court, the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals.

Schibell & Mennie, LLC., is a highly successful law firm and Richard is well respected in the legal industry. He has had a staggering number of professional affiliations with associations throughout his career. Richard Schibell is a leader in his firm and industry. Some of his most recent professional affiliations have been the Board of Trustees of The College of New Jersey during the time from 2004 to 2006; he was a Trustee at Seton Hall University Law School Alumni Council during the timeframe of 1988 to 1990; he was named the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation Man of the Year in 2003; and he was in The Association of Trial Lawyers of America Board of Governors, NJ Branch from 1977 to 1978 and then again from 1981 to now. 

Richard Schibell is well known for his legal work in personal injury law and civil matters as one of the senior partners of Schibell & Mennie, LLC.; however, he dedicates over 95% of his time to dealing with matters of litigation. Heading up numerous counsel teams for jury trials over his career, he has been a part of a number of claims regarding personal injury, damage to persons and property, as well as matters of death, with much success for his clients.

The team has been able to recover over $1.2 million for medical malpractice; $750,000 recovered due to a motorcycle accident; over $400,000 for a car accident victim; and over $1.4 million because of construction site accidents.
